State-Mandated Testing
As part of a balanced assessment system, Summit View Elementary participates in several performance assessments that give us a snapshot of your child's abilities. Per state law, we are providing parents with as much information as possible to inform them about these assessments.
CMAS 2026 Testing Schedule
Please note that the testing schedule may be adjusted as we get closer to the official dates. The testing dates listed for students in grades 3–6 are accurate. Sixth grade will test one week later due to their Outdoor Ed trip.
No more paper-pencil testing except for students with specific accommodations. Those accommodations should be documented in a 504/IEP and could be due to:
-
Having a neurological disorder (such as a recent concussion), a condition that causes seizures, or another health condition that prevents the student from accessing the computer
-
Braille/Large Print
-
Adaptive equipment is not compatible
-
Students with disabilities that prevent them from utilizing devices safely may meet this criterion
